Owen Wesley Davis, 79, of Rector, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at the Northeast Arkansas Regional Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.

He was a World War II veteran, farmer and cattleman.

Survivors include his wife, Annette; two sons, Barry and Darryl; one daughter, Debbie Robinson; three brothers, Bud, Preston and Elvis Davis; one sister, Hazel Jones; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Brooksie Davis; five brothers; one sister; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 10, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Kim Bridges and Phillip Bynum officiating.

Burial was in the Woodland Heights Cemetery.
