Amy Gosney

Amy Virginia Gosney, 90, of Shawnee, Kan., formerly of Independence, Mo., died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at her residence.

Survivors include one son, Charles Vance Gosney, of Overland Park, Kan.; two daughters, Patricia E. Burton and husband, Jerald, of Shawnee and Judith A. Haggard and husband, David, of Kennett; four grandchildren, Shelly R. Mumma, Amy Lynn Hibdon, Trent A. Haggard and Claire V. Zurek and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Independence. A reception will follow at the church.

Donations may be made to the Trinity Episcopal Church, 409 N. Liberty, Independence, Mo. 64050.
