Lea Ann Wilker

Lea Ann Wilder, 86, of Kennett, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Nov. 27, 1919, in Ponder, Mo., daughter of the late John Wesley and Erma Murdock McNabb, she was a homemaker, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Malden and a member of the Methodist Church in Piggott, Ark.

On Sept. 20, 1937, in Piggott, she married Charles Oscar Wilder, Jr., who preceded her in death on April 2, 1999. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Survivors include one son, Charles John Wilder, Sr., and wife, Paula, of Kennett; one daughter, Gloria Smith and husband, Paul, of St. Charles, Mo.; one sister, Vivian Wells, of Klamath Falls, ore.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo., with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.

Donations may be made to the Delta Childrens Home or the Presbyterian Activity Center.
