Ada Nelle Baker, 93, of Clarkton, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 2, 2005, at the Gideon Care Center in Gideon, Mo.

Born June 17, 1912, in Marion, Ky., daughter of the late John Solomon and Lula Belle McDowell Thomas, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarkton.

On Dec. 4, 1930, in Clarkton, she married Roy R. Baker, who preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1981. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Ella Fralick.

Survivors include two daughters, Deanna Thomas and husband, Danny, of Steele and Janet Skidmore, of Clarkton; one son, Charles Baker and wife, Peggy, of Mebane, N.C.; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
