Grace Emma Bunch, 94, of Manila, Ark., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Northeast Arkansas Medical Center at Jonesboro, Ark.
Born Sept. 1, 1911, at Burnt Hill, Ark., a daughter of the late James "J.R." Ransom and Sarah Elizabeth Nutt Hicks, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Manila.
On Feb. 10, 1930, in Manila, Ark., she married George Washington Bunch. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1993. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Yvettia Ann Bunch, four brothers, six sisters, two grandchildren, Melanie Clendenin and Beverly Helzer and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include five sons, Arthur Bunch and wife, Imogene, of St. Charles, Mo., J.R. Bunch and wife, Grace, of Piedmont, Mo., Jimmy Bunch and wife, Ruth Ann, and Gary Bunch and wife, Sharon, all of Manila and Michael George Bunch of Plant City, Fla.; six daughters, Ruth Riggs and Carolyn Bill and husband, Terry, of Jonesboro, Ark., Helen Woolf and husband, Charles, of St. Louis, Martha Cary and husband, Carl, of Foristelle, Mo., and Sherry Pratt of Manila; 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 3, at First Baptist Church of Manila with Bro. William Piercy officiating.
Burial in Manila Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kyle Cary, Aaron Cary, Matthew Clendenin, Shane Myers, Mark Byrd and Matthew Keil;
Honorary pallbearers were grandsons, great-grandsons and great-great-grandsons.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Hornersville was in charge of services.
Memorials may be made to the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church in Manila.
