Elizabeth King

Elizabeth King, 95, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Holcomb, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 30, 2005 at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff.

Born Dec. 13, 1910, at Equality, Ill., a daughter of the late Simeon and Adline Elvira Lawler Logsdon, she was retired registered nurse and attended the United Methodist Church.

On March 3, 1926, at Calico Rock, Ark., she married J.H. King, who preceded her in death July 16, 1972. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and one son.

Survivors incude three sons, Robert King and wife, Hannah, of Florissant, Mo., Carroll King and wife, Phyliss, of North Platte, Neb., and James H. King and wife, Kathy, of Sarasota, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2006, at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 3, at Landess Chapel in Campbell with James Powell officiating.

Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
