Thomas Gunnells, 48, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born July 30, 1957, at Hayti, Mo., a son of the late Carl and Mary Durena Eddlemon Gunnells, he was a butcher and his religious belief Pentecostal.
Survivors include two sons, Jason and Tony Gunnells of Kennett; seven sisters, Nelda Harris of Obion, Tenn., Linda Davis of Hayti, Ruby Young , Jeannie Stacy and Mary Vinal, all of Atoka, Tenn., Debbie Loveless of O'Fallon, Mo. and Joannie Daughenbaugh of Rockford, Ill.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jessie Edward, James Royce and Charles Wayne Gunnells and two sisters, Shirley Jean Gunnells and Carolyn Lowry.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at John W. German Funeral Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Donnie Morrison officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers were Shannon Stacy, Larry Jr. Morgan, David Burkeen, Pall Howard Lyell, Kenny Loveless and David Burkeen.
Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Burkeen, Mark Loveless and James Gunnells.
