L.V. Bryant, 76, of Kennett, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Nov. 29, 1919, in Keiser, Ark., son of the late Elbert and LuVada Reland Bryant, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and was employed with the Department of Agriculture. He was affiliated with the Faith Methodist Church and a member of the NARFE, past Rotarian and a songwriter.
On Feb. 12, 1952, he married Ogareeda Felts, who survives.
Survivors also include one daughter, Lecia Reza, of Richardson, Texas; one grandchild, Carmen Reza; a brother-in-law, Narvel Felts and wife, Loretta, of Malden, Mo., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Hartbarger officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
Pallbearers were Morris Ridge, Printis Cartee, Phill Gurley, Alan Bradley, Ed Hodges, Bradley Benson and Wayne Shelton.
