Hazel Beatrice Householder, 90, of Montrose, Ark., died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005.
Born April 7, 1915, in Bennett, Mo., daughter of the late Thomas Lee and Nettis Florence Swigert Lowe, she was a homemaker.
On Oct. 3, 1932, in Corning, Ark., she married Frank Householder, who preceded her in death in Aug. of 1979. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Nettie Nichols and Nancy Householder; two sons, Jim and Edward Householder; four brothers, Raymond, Venice, T.L. and Glenn Lowe; two sisters, Opal Householder and Gladys Gosnell; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Copeland, of Rector, Ark., Linda Bawcom, of Montrose and Deborah Tompkins and Donna Crawford, both of McDougal, Ark.; three sons, Louis Wayne Householder, of Piggott, Ark., Franklin Householder, of McDougal and David Householder, of Paragould, Ark.; three brothers, Robert Lowe, of Doniphan, Mo., Travis Lowe, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Woodrow Lowe, of Pollard, Ark.; one sister, Lottie Householder, of Truman, Ark.; 29 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Gary Ryals officiating.
Burial was in the Post Oak Cemetery at McDougal.
