Helen Louise Goodrich, 79, of Kennett, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Oct. 6, 1926, in Augusta, Ark., daughter of the late Ernest and Myrtle McGowan Simmons, she was a member of the Bragg City Baptist Church in Bragg City, Mo.

On March 21, 1942, in Kennett, she married Ben Goodrich, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, C.W. and Ernest Simmons.

Survivors include two sons, Curtis Don Goodrich and wife, Donna, of Batesville, Ark., and Mike Goodrich and wife, Melinda, of O'Fallon, Mo.; one daughter, Betty Tate and husband, Ed, of Kennett; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with the Rev. Harold Dunbar officiating.

Pallbearers were Barry Tate, Jason Goodrich, Ed Tate, Josh Goodrich, Tommy Sisson and Bill Inman.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
