Theodore T. "Teddy" Martin Jr., 94, of Hayti, Mo., died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, at Dunedin, Fla.

Born Feb. 12, 1911, at Chaffee, Mo., son of the late Theodore Truman and Flossie Vivian Ford Martin, he graduated from Hayti High School. He was a U.S. military veteran, a mason, an automobile mechanic and member of Hayti United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Rumpf and husband, Paul, of Clearwater, Fla., one sister, Mary Frances Whitener and husband, Robert, of Hayti; and two grandchildren, Whitney Rumpf and Bryan Rumpf, both of Clearwater.

He was preceded in death by an infant son and three brothers, Richard, Robert and Glen Martin.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at John W. German Funeral Home at Hayti with the Rev. Sue Cubbage officiating.

Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were Glen Whitener, Robert Whitener, Richard Kohn, Martin Ray, Bobby Irions and Danny Stevens.
