Oscar Aaron Miller, 82, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at his residence.
Born May 7, 1923, at Risco, Mo., a son of the late Otis and Orpha Jackson Miller, was a road supervisor for New Madrid Co. Highway, and worked at Wal-Mart before retiring. He was a member and deacon at Pleasant View General Baptist Church at Risco and a member of 4 Mile Masonic Lodge at Campbell, Mo.
On Dec. 5, 1940, at Malden he married Lavona Z. Lomax, who survives.
Other survivors include four sons, Bob Miller and Terry Miller, both of Malden, Ralph Miller of Blytheville, Ark. and Stanley Miller of Springfield, Mo.; one daughter Barbara Medlin of Parma, Mo., two brothers, Julian Miller of Risco and Ed Miller of Malden; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary McConnell and Neva Thompson and three brothers Adolph Miller, Harold Miller and D.O. Miller.
Visitation is 5 p.m.. to 9 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 11, at Bradshaw Funeral Home at Malden with Masonic service at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at First Southern Baptist Church at Malden with the Rev. Mark Powell officiating.
Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
