Lanny Dale Presley, 62, of Sikeston, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, at his residence.
Born March 29, 1943, in Granite City, Ill., son Emily Lou Waltrip Presley and the late Gerald Robert Presley, he was owner/operator of J.P. Auto Sales in Cape Girardeau, Mo., and owned and operated Presley's Produce in Cape.
Survivors include one son, Joey Presley, of Kennett, Candace Presley-Rodgers, of Sikeston; his mother, Emily Lou Presley, of Sikeston and two grandchildren, Cody Rodgers and Chloe Hampton, both of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Presley.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 9, at the Nunnelee Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Nunnelee Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Cecil Adams and Rodney Dunlap officiating.
Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joe Godwin, Tim Garner, Danny Freeman, Bill and Harrison Waltrip and Dave Hampton.
