Minerva Carnett

Minerva Adeline Carnett, 90, of Kennett, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.

Born Dec. 24, 1914, in Locust Grove, Ark., daughter of the late Charlie and Lucinda Lowell Elms, she was a homemaker.

She married Leo Carnett, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include one step-son, Ron Carnett, of St. Peters, Mo.; one sister, Charlene George, of Locust Grove; three grandchildren, Lindy Carnett, Ronnin Gabbard and Cayla Smotherman and three great-grandchildren, Jac and Ethan Carnett and Jace Gabbard.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 1, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lindy Carnett officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Carl Williams, Carol Moore, Rusty Moore and Jim Blankenship.
