Nellie "Nell" Wilson, 92, of Kennett, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born July 20, 1913, in Rector, Ark., daughter of the late William and Pearl Lankford Curtis, she was a homemaker and attended the Shady Grove Baptist Church.
She married Joe Wilson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Curtis Allen and Joe H. Wilson; one brother, Earnest Curtis and one sister, Mabel Hartley.
Survivors include two sons, James Wilson and wife, Lois, of Muskegon, Mich., and Billy Wilson and wife, Sharon, of Kennett; two daughters, Linda Wilson McClure and husband, Fred, and Jerris Woodard and husband, Carlos, all of Kennett and a daughter-in-law, Judy Wilson, of Jonesboro, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and special friends, Bill Kirby, Mary Akers, Mona Gregory, Margaret Langston and Ann Williams.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Scott Miskelly officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Bill Kirby, Carroll Dean Crawford, Kenny Wilson, Steven McClure, Don Bentley and Chris Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers were Carla Redhair, LeeAnn Woodard, Cindy Crawford, Cristy Miskelly, Julie Garvey, Kechia Bentley, Kurtis Guntharpe and Gena Wilson.
