Elizabeth May "Betty" Morgan, 63, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center at Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born July 23, 1942, at St. Louis, a daughter of the late George Edward and Augusta Julia Shelper Simmons, she was a member of First Church of Nazarene at Malden.
On Feb. 9, 1967, at St. Louis she married James Cordell Morgan who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Cpl. James Morgan Jr. of Caruthersville, Mo., and Chester Morgan of Malden; one daughter, Augusta Allen of Malden; three step-daughters, Laura Biano of Hitchcock and Jeanette Bice, both of Hitchcock, Texas and Glenda Morgan of Texas City, Texas; two sisters, Ann Heulsing and Carol Heulsing, both of St. Louis; seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sarah McCarthy and one brother, George Edward Simmons II.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 20, at Bradshaw Funeral Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Michael Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
