Born Sept. 25, 1939, at Hornersville, Mo., a daughter of the late Gerald and Allie Moore Wheat, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie Peterson of Cardwell, Mo. and Keith Wilson of Chesaning, Mich.; one brother, Rocky Hamrick of Hornersville; a half brother, Kenny Perkins of Chesaning, Mich.; four sisters, Gladys Wilson and Joan Perkins, both of Chesaning, Betty Hamlett of Kennett and Bonnie Harvilla of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Chad William Peterson, Julie Swindle and Kenneth Askeland; nine great-grandchildren, Timothy Peterson, Chase, Hayden and Brianna Askeland, Hunter, Searra and Kendra Gordon and Machalla and Maranda Swindle.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Peterson Peterson.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel at Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
Burial was in Horner Cemetery at Hornersville.
