Alma Sue Peterson, 66, of Kennett, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Sept. 25, 1939, in Hornersville, Mo., daughter of the late Gerald and Allie Moore Wheat, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include one brother, Rocky Hamrick, of Hornersville; one half-brother, Kenny Perkins, of Chesaning, Mich.; three sisters, Gladys Wilson, of Chesaning, Betty Hamlett, of Kennett and Bonnie Harvilla, of St. Louis, Mo.; three grandchildren, Chad William Peterson, Julie Swindle and Kenneth Askeland and nine great-grandchildren, Timothy Peterson, Chase, Hayden and Brianna Askeland, Hunter, Searra and Kendra Gordon and Machalla and Maranda Swindle.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Becky Peterson.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.

Burial was in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville.
