POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- The Three Rivers Community College Office of College Advancement recently won a silver medal for its series of summer/fall registration radio ads in the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations District 5 Medallion Awards.

The Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in communications for community college professionals at the district level of NCMPR, an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges. District 5 consists of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Manitoba.

The series of radio ads, written by Director of Marketing Teresa Johnson and recorded at Mississippi River Radio, touted the benefits of attending Three Rivers, using the theme "TRCC: The Right Choice."
