Lawanda Yvonne Rainwater, 69, of Covington, Tenn., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Tipton, Tenn.

Born Dec. 23, 1935, in Campbell, daughter of the late Rolla H. and Vietta N. Lewis Perry, she was a bookkeeper.

On Sept. 20, 1952, in Pocahontas, Ark., she married Bobby Dan Rainwater, who preceded her in death on April 5, 1985. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Belt and Nina York and one brother, Eugene Perry.

Survivors include one daughter, Ramona Coltharp, of Covington, Tenn.; four sons, Timothy Rainwater, of Memphis, Tenn., Robert Rainwater, of Tampa, Fla., Shane Rainwater, of Byhalia, Miss., and Perry Rainwater and wife, Sandy, of Southaven, Miss.; three sisters, Dorothy Polsgrove, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Joyce Robinson and Frances Rainwater, both of Campbell; eight grandchildren, Daniel, Patrick, Nathan, Kevin and David Rainwater, Shana McBride and Madison and Madeline Coltharp.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with C.O. Evans officiating.

Burial will follow at the Gravel Hill Cemetery in Campbell.
