Lena Hix Reed, 69, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Malden, Mo., died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at Forth Worth.

Born June 16, 1936, in Malden, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Gracie Adkins Hix.

Survivors include one son, Bruce W. Reed, of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Tamara Serna and Renee Reed, both of Forth Worth; four brothers, Bobby Hix and James Stanley, both of Malden, John Hix, of Lancaster, Texas and Paul E. Hix Jr., of Saline, Texas; one sister, Paulette Jackson, of Garland, Texas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Bolin officiating.

Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
