Lazy J Ranch restaurant now open

Lazy J Ranch Family Restaurant has opened it's doors for a family outing experience, owners James and Mary Vore says you'll never forget.

Since we have opened the Restaurant, we have had a tremendous turnout for our Sunday buffet, Vore said.

Last Sunday the restaurant took in more than 200 hungry people. "They all claim to have yet go to a Restaurant where you can get good homemade food such as yeast rolls and desserts," she said.

The Lazy J restaurant offers a daily lunch buffet with a holiday style line of food. "There is such a variety of food to choose from," Vore said, continuing by telling about everyday options, ranging from angus hamburgers, chicken fried steak sandwiches, philly cheesesteak sandwiches, barbecue, etc.

"We are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., serving a full lunch buffet and salad bar, Friday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. serving a catfish buffet dinner with a larger buffet selection Friday evening, adding coconut shrimp, popcorn shrimp, stuffed crab, ribs and chicken," Vore said.

Saturday, the restaurant is open from 8 a.m.-9 p.m., with plans for a Saturday buffet to come, and Sunday, open from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.," Vore said, claiming the restaurant has changed its hours of operation to adjust to the demand of their customers.

"Our Sunday buffet, we like to call our holiday style, because of our food selection," Vore said. "On our Sunday buffet we have chicken and dumplings, dressing and giblet gravy, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, homemade yeast rolls," she added, and several homemade desserts to choose from.

Vore talked briefly about the restaurants full line of steaks, along with the barbecue porksteaks and ribs. "Our steaks, porksteaks and ribs are cooked to perfection," she said. "Good food makes for a good business, and we want our customers to keep coming back."

Lazy J Ranch restaurant is now booking Christmas parties.
