Helen Bonds

Helen Maxine Bonds, 83, of Gideon, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Jan. 31, 1922, in Adona, Ark., daughter of the late Archie and Elva Albey Richardson, she was a member of the Stanfield General Baptist Church in Gideon.

In June of 1941, in Plumerville, Ark., she married James Henry Bonds, who preceded her in death in June, 1971. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Bonds; two brothers, Delton and Harold Richardson and a daughter-in-law, Mary Bonds.

Survivors include one son, David Bonds, of Fenton, Mo.; two sisters, Ada Martin, of Morrilton, Ark., and Hattie Hanner and husband, Mark, of Las Cruces, N.M.; two brothers, Allen Richardson and wife, Daphne, of Gideon, and Truman Richardson and wife, Nellie, of Troy, Mo.; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Gideon with the Revs. Andy Evans, Dale McFarland and Travis Lambert officiating.

Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
