Edwin Rivera

Edwin Lenin Rivera, 13, of Malden, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Born July 5, 1992, at Chicago, Ill., he was an eighth grade student at Malden and member of Spoonerville Baptist Church of Malden.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Julio Rivera and wife, Nicole, of Malden; mother and step-father, Maria Ochoa and husband, Jose M., of Elgin, Ill., brother, Julio Rivera Jr. of Malden; sister, Josephine Rivera of Elgin; step-brother, Ernesto Rivera; three step-sisters, Juliana Rivera, Estrella Ochoa and Maria Ochoa; grandparents, Maria S. and Lenin Gates of Chicago and Maria J. Rivera of Malden.

Funeral services will be held in Chicago.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden is in charge of arrangements.
