He was the son of Elizabeth "Betsy" Smith and the late Gary O. Smith.

He married Cynthia Rickman, who survives.

He is also survived by one son, Taylor Smith.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. today, Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home, Catonsville, Md.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at Springhill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hebron, Md.
