Sarah Frances Lloyd Singleton, 88, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Cardwell, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
Born Nov. 20, 1916, in Newton County, Ga., daughter of the late Howard and Susie Lloyd, she was a member of Church of Christ in Cardwell.
She married Borden D. Singleton, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Singleton and wife, Pat, of Paragould and David Singleton and wife, JoAnn, of Bloomfield, Mo.; one daughter, Mitzi Walls and husband, Edward, of Arbyrd, Mo.; one brother, Chestene Loyd, of Paragould; two sisters, Nell Vincent and Ruth Beggs, of Michigan; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 4, at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Paragould.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Harrison and Jim Skaggs officiating.
Burial will follow at the Cardwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Walls, Kevin Singleton, Lanz Loyd, Jason Higgins, Joe Dan Loftin and Jim Skaggs.
Honorary pallbearers are Ritchard Zolman, Chuckie Walls, Mitchell Skaggs, Daniel Loftin, Wayne McLemore and Michael Singleton.
Memorials may be made in honor of Sarah Singleton to the Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould.
