Ann Crews, 92, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Malden, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at Poplar Bluff Regional Healthcare.
Born Jan. 17, 1913, in New Madrid, Mo., daughter of the late George C. and Ada A. Henry Weeks, she was a grocery store owner and a member of the United Methodist Church in Malden. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Past Worthy Matron, Past District Deputy Grand Matron, Past Grand Representative and Past Grand Officer.
On April 24, 1937, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., she married John A. Crews, who preceded her in death on July 4, 1995. She was also preceded in death by one son, John A. Crews II; five sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include one daughter, Jayne Kukowski and husband, Steve, of Tombstone, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law, Laura Crews, of Poplar Bluff; three sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Weeks, of Malden, Fern Wilhelm, of Nashville, Tenn., and Erma Weeks, of O'Fallon, Mo.; three granddaughters, Dawne Hurst, of Brookeland, Texas and Cari Goin and Stacie Vancil, both of Poplar Bluff and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 1, at the United Methodist Church in Malden with the Rev. Stan Wood officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
Bradshaw Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
