Sue Petty Harkey, 83, of Senath, Mo. died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at the Northeast Arkansas Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born April 12, 1922, in Octa, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Curt and Hattie Mungle Petty.

On Dec. 1, 1943, she married Vernon J. Harkey, who preceded her in death on June 3, 1970.

Survivors include one sister, Peggy Heitkemper, of Salem, Ore., and two nephews, Rick and Brett Heitkemper.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the United Methodist Church in Senath with the Rev. Scott Andrews officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
