Dwight Franklin Laden Jr., 41, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Born Aug. 17, 1964, in Caruthersville, Mo., son of Jane Wilkerson Laden and the late Dwight F. laden, Sr., he was of the Baptist faith.

On April 29, 1990, in Forth Worth, Texas, he married Helen Frazier Lay, who survives.

Survivors also include three step-sons, Rickey Allen Lay, of Siloam Springs, Ark., Bobby Lay, of West Fork, Ark., and Jason Lay, of Oaks, Okla.; his mother, Helen Laden, of Malden, Mo.; two brothers, Scott Laden, of Dexter, Mo., and Mark Laden, of Malden and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel of Malden with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.

Burial was in the Laden Cemetery at Dexter.
