Dorothy C. Plannette, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Born Dec. 14, 1921, in Linden, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Lige and Minnie Gladwin Plunkett.

She married Frederick Ray, who preceded her in death and later married Arthur Plannette, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Floyd and two brothers, Charlie and Henry Wayne Plunkett.

Survivors include one son, Fred Ray, of Henderson, Nev.; one daughter, Linda Robinson and husband, Michael, of Williamsville, Mo.; four grandchildren, Michell Bosslet, Cathy Thorne, Michael Robinson and Randall Allan Ray and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at the Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, Ark., with the Rev. Troy Alley officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
