King Elmo Crum, 88, of Kennett, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born March 14, 1917, in Caraway, Ark., son of the late Samuel and Elsie Mae Johnson Crum, he was a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ.
On March 31, 1961, in Lake City, Ark., he married Irene Shumaker, who preceded him in death on Feb. 20, 1997. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Howard Crum.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Crum and wife, Peggy, of Memphis, Tenn., Gary Crum and wife, Pat, of Hernando, Miss., Harry Don Crum and wife, Linda, and Johnny Crum and wife, Kathy, all of Kennett; two sisters, Cleo Huffines, of Kennett and Laura Sue Williams, of Newport News, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; first wife, Jessie Muriel Crum.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 14, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.
