Nellie Louise Baird, 78, of Senath, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Dec. 27, 1926, in Holcomb, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Clarence Ezra and Helen Cathrine Halter Medley.
On April 1, 1943, in Senath, she married Ervin Baird, who survives.
Survivors also include four sons, Donald Baird and wife, Anna, of St. Louis, Mo., Ralph Baird and wife, Lynda, of Paragould, Ark., Jerry Baird, of Senath and Harold Baird, of Kennett; four daughters, Judy Cossick, of Concord, Calif., Carolyn Deniston and husband, Duane, of Kennett and Athena Baird and Linda Ridings and husband, Randel, all of Senath; one brother, Harold Medley, of Rector, Ark.; one sister, Wilma Brooks, of Kennett; a son-in-law, Ben Glover, of Piggott, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Glover; one brother, Clarence Medley and one sister, Irma Medley.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Greg Pollock and Gary Renfrow officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Randel Ridings, Duane Deniston, Steve D. Prince, Ben Glover, Douglas Kelly and Jason Baird.
Honorary pallbearers were Nicholas Ridings and Blake Ridings.
