Born July 13, 1926, in Knobel, ark., son of the late Ferdinand Joseph and Johanna Dickneite Boeckman, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, a plant manager for a heating and cooling manufacturer and a member of the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville, Mo.
On June 9, 1946, in Clay County, Ark., he married Melba Jean Green, who preceded him in death on Aug. 19, 2005. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Retha Callahan; one brother, Clarence Boeckman and two sisters, Betty Boeckman and Sister Xavier.
Survivors include one son, Fred Boeckman, of Arnold, Mo.; two daughters, Jeanne Baumer, of St. Charles, Mo., and Kay Kerperien, of St. Louis County, Mo.; four sisters, Margaret Finder, of Campbell, Katherine Bader, of Glennonville, Bridgette Finder, of Billings, Mo., and Sister Benedictica, of Jonesboro, Ark.; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 10, at the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville with Father Glenn Eftink officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition in Campbell, Mo.
Landess Funeral Home of Campbell was in charge of arrangements.
