Lois Boen

Lois Marie Boen, 65, of Kennett, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at her residence.

Born Aug. 5, 1940, in Low Gap, Ark., daughter of the late Lloyd Dennis and Mary Boling Boen, she was employed at K-Mart and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Kennett.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Barnes, of Kennett; two sisters, Linda Boen, of Senath, Mo., and Helen Stark, of Kennett; one brother, Coba Boen, of Senath; seven grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, James Edward Malady, Jr.; two brothers, Archie and Jack Boen and two sisters, Ann Stockton and Ava Jean Aldridge.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.
