Glenda Ray Treece, 59, of Tiptonville, Tenn., died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at her residence.
Born Jan. 28, 1946, in Hayti, Mo., daughter of the late Beecher Bernard and Mary Wilburn Norton Murphy, she was a member of the Dew Drop Baptist Independent Church in Lane, Tenn.
On Feb. 18, 1967, in Bridgeman, Mich., she married Aubrey E. "Bud" Treece, who preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 2005. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jesse James; three sisters, Edie Faye Summerford, Joyce Rye and Weba Murphy and one step-grandson, Ray Lathams.
Survivors include one son, Anthony Bernard Rollins, of Ripley, Tenn.; one brother, Frank Murphy, of Eau Claire, Mich.; two sisters, Marie Privett, of Bangor, Mich., and Delilah Meier, of Lima, Ohio; one grandson, Anthony Eugene Rollins, of Lansing, Mich., and one step-granddaughter, Crystal Roxanne Lathams, of Lake Charles, La.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Bros. Marvin Wilson and Jimmy Goodman officiating.
Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville, Mo.
Pallbearers were Allen Ray Lambert, Anthony Dale Lambert, David Wayne Lambert, Billy Wayne Lambert, Donald Ray Lambert, Robert DeWayne Haggard, Jason Dewayne Haggard, Martin Ray Treece, Austin David Allen and Kyle Lee Paris.
Honorary pallbearers, Jeffery Roy Treece, Ray Harold Treece Jr., Stuart Alton Treece, Lester Ray Lambert, Joseph Dewayne Lambert, Matthew Thomas Baur, Daniel Edward Clark, Tyler Ross Fullhart, David Matthew Fullhart, Roger Dale Ferris and Jeremy Curtis Brown.
