Joseph Myron Henderson, 56, of Braggadocio, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 1 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Sept. 15, 1949, in Memphis, Tenn., a son of Joseph Harrison and Nell Brown Wolfe Henderson of Dexter, Mo., he was a carpenter and member of Dry Bayou Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; one son, John Allen Henderson of St. Louis; one daughter Amy Lyn Byrd of Hopkinsville, Ky.; two sisters, Janet Powell and husband, Billy, of Cottageville, West Va. and Donna Mattingly of Carrollton, Texas; one brother, Robert Henderson and wife, Tracey, of Dexter; one grandson, Chance Henderson of St. Louis.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Dry Bayou Baptist Church north of Hayti with the Revs. Bill Baldwin and Jerry Pennington officiating.
Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Howell, David Turner, Brad Pate, Yogi Briggs, Jeff Fansler, Charlie Brotherton and Hal Lane.
Honorary pallbearers were Tom Frazier, Randy Tomlin, Fritz Whitmer, Billy Powell, Walter Turner Jr., Joe Armstrong, Bill Quinn, Glen Holman, Willie Davis and Gil Gilbreath.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti was in charge of services.
