Evelyn Calvert, 78, of Campbell, Mo., formerly of Paragould, Ark., died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.

Born June 22, 1927, in Scottsville, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Joe V. and Gertie White Cockrill.

She married Roy Calvert Sr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Odell and Curtis Cockrill and two sisters, Wilma and Gladys Cockrill.

Survivors include one son, Norris Epley, of Clarkton, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at the Memorial Cemetery in Crossville, Tenn.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
