Carlos Don Skidmore, 64, of Clarkton, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born Aug. 9, 1941, in Gideon, Mo., son of Delphine Kinsey Skidmore and the late J.L. Skidmore, he was employed at Helena Chemical Company in Clarkton and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clarkton.
On April 13, 1963, in Clarkton, he married Janet Baker, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Shannon Skidmore and wife, Michelle, of Camp Lejeune, N.C., and Ryan Skidmore and wife, Stacy, of Clarkton; mother, Delphine Skidmore, of Clarkton; two brothers, Jerry Skidmore and wife, Kathie, of Gideon and Dennis Skidmore and wife, Marilyn, of Oakland City, Ind.; two granddaughters, Sarah and Hannah Skidmore, both of Camp Lejeune and one grandson, Nicolas Skidmore, of Clarkton.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jack Allen, Randy Wiseman and Daniel Hale officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Mo.
