Lowell Glenn Hanner, 80, of Osceola, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola.
Born Oct. 1, 1924, in Sturdivant, Mo., son of the late George Franklin and Minnie Belle McKee Hanner, he was a mechanic and a member of the Arkansas-Missouri Sideband Club, Inc.
Survivors include three sons, Lowell Hanner, of Evening Shade, Ark., Donald Hanner, of Kennett and Wesley Hanner, of Osceola; one daughter, Nora "Sissy" Griffin, of Granbury, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Faye Wilcox Hanner; one daughter, Mary Ann Hanner; four brothers, William "Bill", Oren, Norman and Frank "Dee" Hanner and three sisters, Cecil Bess, Fern Yates and Pauline Hastings.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, at the Roller- Swift Funeral Home Chapel in Osceola with Bro. David Farr officiating.
Burial was in the Mississippi County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Osceola.
