Kontek Industries receives contract for sniper towers

NEW MADRID, Mo.-- Kontek Industries hasannounced the receipt of a $1 million contract to provide three mobile sniper training towers for the United States Marine Corps.

"We are very pleased to be providing this important service to the Marine Corps," said Don Utz, president of Kontek. "It makes us proud to play a part in helping train the men and women that protect our great country everyday."

The towers will be used for training Scout Snipers involved in the Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) program. This contract further amplifies Kontek's highly regarded reputation for the highest level of physical security and force protection products and expertise

Kontek Industries is headquartered in New Madrid, Mo. At its 150,000 sq. ft. plant , Kontek manufactures pre-equipped, transportable steel and concrete buildings to house critical communications equipment that have been tested and certified to withstand high powered rifle fire, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and fires.
