Colver "Cop" Ervin Forrest, 94, of Qulin, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.

Born Jan. 2, 1911, in Pollard, Ark., son of the late Alfred Wilson and Belvia Braden Forrest, he was a farmer and carpenter. He attended the Oglesville General Baptist Church in Qulin.

On Dec. 17, 1933, in Piggott, he married Onedia Berger, who preceded him in death on Jan. 16, 1983. He later married Alma Cunningham, on Sept. 24, 1983, in Piggott, who preceded him in death on Dec. 3, 1998. He was also preceded in death by one step-son, Robert Cunningham; three brothers, Bob, Bill and Columbus Forrest and two sisters, Ulyla Forrest and Ruby Machett.

Survivors include one step-daughter-in-law, Jean Cunningham, of Worcester, Mass.; two sisters-in-law, Sue Berger, of Qulin and Jenevia Berger, of Arnold, Mo.; three step-grandchildren; four nieces and three nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Oglesville General Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Berger officiating.

Burial will follow at the Carola-Berger Cemetery in Qulin.
