Pansy Bell Strader Johnson, 92, of Steele, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born May 18, 1913, in Prue, Okla., daughter of the late Elmer and Drucella Strader, she was a homemaker and a member of the Calvery Baptist Deaf Church in Riverside, Calif.
She married Lee Jessie Johnson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, David Johnson.
Survivors include two sons, Lewis "Leroy" Johnson, of Oregon and Richard Joe Johnson, of Las Vega, Nev.; two daughters, Doris Marie Rice, of Corpus Christi, Texas and Shirley Lee Johnson, of Las Vegas; one half-brother, Charles Strader, of Oklahoma; a granddaughter, Shannon Edwards; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Cooter, Mo., with the Rev. Dave Lewelling officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
Powell Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
