Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center announces new department managers

Several personnel promotions have been recently announced at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center.

On June 20, Tina Davis was promoted to director of the medical surgical department. She is responsible for the inpatient care of non-critical patients including patients recovering from illnesses and surgeries. Davis has been employed at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center for the past three years as a staff nurse in the emergency department. She earned an associates in nursing from Arkansas Northeastern College. Davis is currently taking courses toward her bachelor's in nursing degree at Southeast Missouri State University. She and her husband, Stephen, live in Gosnell, Ark.

A nurse with the hospital since 1994, Deloris Johnson, was recently promoted to emergency department manager. As manager, Johnson is responsible for the staff and day-to-day operations of the emergency department. She holds a licensed practical nurse license and is currently working on her associates degree in nursing at Three Rivers Community College. Johnson, her husband, Marty, and their 3-year-old son, Will, make their home in Kennett. She is the daughter of Charles and Betty Halter of Kennett.

Tiffany Leeker recently accepted the position of inpatient rehab director at the hospital. Leeker oversees the rehab unit, which assists patients in gaining functionality, mobility and independence in their daily lives. She has a bachelor's of social work from Central Missouri State University and a master's in social work from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Prior to her new position, Leeker was employed for four years as the hospital social worker. She lives in Kennett with her husband, Richie.

Leeker is the daughter of Richard and Ann Jenkins of White Oak, Mo.
