Melvin Lackey, 43, of Cardwell, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at his residence.

Born Sept. 13, 1961, in Paragould, Ark., he was the son of Dorothy Williams Lackey and the late Carl William Lackey.

Survivors include two daughters, Crystal Marie and Brandy Nichole Lackey; his mother, Dorothy Lackey, of Cardwell and one sister, Carltha Crockett, of Paragould.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Arbyrd, Mo.
