Gordon Dwayne French, 67, of Osceola, Ark., died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005 at Osceola.
Born Feb. 22, 1937, at Rector, Ark., he was a son of Flora McCoy French of Osceola and the late Leroy French.
Other survivors include daughters, Lavetria Gonzalez of Washington, D.C., Sheri Meeks of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Alisa French of Sidney, Neb.; one brother, George French of Hot Springs, Ark.; one sister, Floella Boone of Pangburn, Ark., and eight grandchildren, Allen, Jeremy, Nickolas, Jonathan, Kasandra, Jason, Josh and Samia.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Zack and Bill French.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Sept. 11, at McDaniel Funeral Service Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Jocelyn VanBuskirk officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery at Rector, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Aronson, Mike Kranz, Tim Lacy, Cecil Vavak, Wayne Freeman and Jason Meeks.
