David Keith Hilburn, 48, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005.

Born Aug. 19, 1957, in Hayti, Mo., son of the late Isom Hilburn Jr. and Mary Virginia Robinson Hilburn, he graduated from Caruthersville High School, He was a carpenter and he attended the Cottonwood Point Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Alissa B. and Keli A. Hilburn, both of Caruthersville; one brother, Gary W. Hilburn, of Caruthersville; one sister, Kathy L. Shelton, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and two grandchildren, Brianna and Charleah Hilburn, both of Caruthersville.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sara Faye Hilburn.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Caruthersville with Bro. Doug Wahls officiating.

Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were Garion Silman, Charles McCoy, Chuck Hardesty, Tommy Woods, Keith Warren and James H. Pery.
