James Edward Shubert, 55, of Steele, Mo., died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005.
Born June 13, 1950, at Waynesboro, Tenn., a son of the late James Harden Shubert and Arlie Ester Martin Shubert, he was employed at Noranda Aluminum.
On Oct. 23, 1992, at Steele, he married Cathy Razer, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Kevin A. Shubert of Florence, Ala. and Jared Shubert of Steele; two daughters, Jamey Dian Alexander and husband, Dennis, of Florence, Ala., and Amy Trammel and husband, Chris, of Steele; two grandsons, Jacob Tramemel and Jayden Trammel of Steele; one granddaughter, Rebecca L. Alexander of Florence.
He was preceded in death by a half-brother, James William Shubert.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. today, Sunday, Sept. 4, at Powell Funeral Home at Steele with the Rev. Dave Lewelling officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
