Pauline Carver, 87, of Kennett, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born May 6, 1918, in Caruthersville, Mo., daughter of the late Robert and Atoka Hemphill Cain, she was a member of the Bragg City Baptist Church in Bragg City, Mo.
In May 1935, in Caruthersville, she married W.F. Carver, who preceded her in death in 1992. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gary Lee and Roy Don Carver; one brother, Albert Cain and three sisters, Loraine Bruce, Lillian White and Eva Sellers.
Survivors include five sons, Danny Carver, of Chicago, Ill., Max, John and Ray Carver, all of Bragg City and Jack Carver, of Woodriver, Ill.; three daughters, Becky Harris, of Senath, Mo., Janie Meredith, of Hazelwood, Mo., and Martha Crafton, of Kennett; one brother, Lee Roy Cain, of Pascola, Mo.; one sister, Earline Bryant, of Braggadocio, Mo.; 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Caruthersville with the Revs. Dale Rickman and Howard Brooks officiating.
