Betty Grimes, 55, of Springfield, Mo., died Sunday, August 28, 2005, in Springfield.

Born Feb. 19, 1950, at St. Louis, she was a daughter of Inez Smith Baldridge and the late Amel Baldridge.

On Feb. 8, 1973, in Austin, Texas, she married Darrell Grimes who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Jordan Grimes and wife, Stephanie, of Green Bay, Wis.; one grandson Jordan Grimes and her mother, Inez Baldridge

She was preceded in death by a brother, Amel Baldridge.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath, Mo., with Marion Farley officiating.

Burial was in the Pine Log Cemetery near Brookland, Ark.
