Eulalia Rae Ramsey, 99, of Campbell, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.
Born June 8, 1906, in St. Francis, Ark., daughter of the late Silas Franklin and Flora Minerva Ramsey, she was a graduate of Campbell High School, Arkansas State University and received a masters degree from George Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn. She was a school teacher, a member of the Bootheel Retired Teachers, a member of the Zeta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, Honorary Teachers Club, a member of the United Methodist Church in Campbell, Methodist Women's Organization and a member of the Campbell Federated Garden Club.
Survivors include three nephews, Bill Ramsey, of Campbell, Patrick Clifford, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Harold Hammond, of Valdosta, Ga., and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Floy Callahan, Faye Ramsey, Mildred Clifford and Eula Hammond and one brother, Clinton Ramsey.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barron Wiler officiating.
Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Campbell.
